Who is Paladini for?
Wild Camping Paladini is ideal for hikers, nature-lovers, artists, musicians, land-artists, wild-swimmers, natural-food eaters and anyone who just wants to relax into complete authenticity. Be at one with the wild and beautiful ecology here, where deer and squirrels can be seen occasionally.
Adventures from Paladini
A short stroll (1.7km) will bring you to the medieval bridge at Castiglione where you can swim in the cool river water or just chill in the breeze of the waterfall and dapples of sunlight. Other tracks through the forest can take you further afield.
Food at Paladini
The communal kitchen is fully equipped, just bring your own food and you’ll be set. There is also a communal fire which you can use as a barbecue. The common areas at Paladini are arranged to encourage meeting and dining together with Colm, other campers or with the volunteers who offer a friendly and interesting international atmosphere to Paladini. For those who prefer to spend time alone or with your group there is plenty of space at each pitch to dine picnic style in the centre of our chestnut grove.
We are a chestnut flour farm so guests are welcome to make their own chestnut flour pancakes for a small fee each morning. Try them as the locals do with ricotta cheese and honey, or go savory with melted cheese and our own Paladini eggs.
